Royal GambitData analysis

iGaming data and player analytics

Every operator has data. Far fewer can answer why last Tuesday was bad, which is a different problem and mostly a front-end one.

Royal Gambit instruments operator products and reads what comes back — registration and deposit funnels, session behaviour, retention curves and the product signals underneath them.

Why the answers are usually missing

Not because nobody collected anything. Because the collecting was designed after the product, by someone guessing which questions would matter.

  • Instrumentation added later only answers the questions you already had. The interesting question always arrives after the release that would have needed the event.
  • A funnel is not a report, it is a build decision. If the front-end does not distinguish "abandoned" from "failed" from "still waiting on a vendor", no dashboard can.
  • Vendor analytics disagree with each other. The CRM, the attribution SDK and the platform each count a session differently, and the gap becomes a meeting rather than an answer.
  • Averages hide the operators' actual problem. A retention curve that looks flat is usually two populations moving in opposite directions.
  • Nobody owns the definitions. When "active player" means three things in one company, every number is arguable and therefore ignorable.

Casino player tracking and analytics: what we do

  • Event design — deciding what the product should record, before it is built.
  • Registration, deposit and first-session funnel analysis.
  • Retention and return-behaviour analysis, including gamification impact.
  • Reconciling numbers across platform, CRM and attribution vendors.
  • Product analytics that answer a question rather than fill a dashboard.
  • Instrumentation for A/B tests that can actually be concluded.

Common questions

Do you replace our BI or analytics stack?

No. Royal Gambit works with the BI and analytics stack you already run. Most of the value is upstream of the dashboard anyway — in what the product records, and how cleanly those events are defined.

Can you instrument a product someone else built?

Yes, and it is the common case. It starts with finding out what is already being recorded, which is usually more than people expect and less useful than they hoped.

Why do our vendor numbers disagree?

Because each one counts a session, an install or an active player differently. Reconciling the definitions is usually a faster win than adding another tool.

Does this connect to the gamification work?

Directly. Loyalty mechanics produce unusually clean data, which is what makes it possible to tell whether one is still working or quietly decaying.

Do you build casino player tracking software?

We build the tracking itself: the event design, the player-level data model and the reports, on top of the analytics stack you already run, so the answers stay in your own tools.

Where is Royal Gambit based?

Warsaw, Poland. We work with operators across the United States and Europe.
